| More Detail | Solitude Adventurer is a 36-metre Aluminium catamaran, though built in the year 2000 she underwent a full renovation in 2017. Adventurer, initially designed to be a private yacht, is as of late-2018 when operations began Indonesia’s only catamaran liveaboard able to cater up to a maximum of 18 guests in unparalleled comfort. CABINS Solitude Adventurer currently has a total of 8 cabins that can accommodate a maximum capacity of 18 guests. With the design, we applied our experiences from refurbishing our other liveaboard, MV Solitude One, paying close attention to detail while using common sense, as well as incorporating feedback from guests and essential elements from the hospitality world, being very aware of what discerning divers need and want. All rooms are above deck allowing for large windows to gaze at the surrounding scenery. DIVING Indonesia is famous for being the centre of marine biodiversity, hosting a greater variety of marine life than anywhere else in the world. Indonesia is comprised of over 17,509 islands located right in the heart of the coral triangle. With 20% of the world’s coral reefs, over 3,000 different species of fish and 600 coral species, deep water trenches, volcanic seamounts, World War II wrecks, and an endless variety of macro life – there’s something to satisfy any diver. COMFORT AT SEA With all rooms located above deck with large windows as well as an abundant amount of outdoor space, you need never worry about missing out on the beautiful scenery Indonesia has to offer. The extra width offered by a catamaran makes it feel more like a floating apartment than a boat sometimes. In our lounge area there is plenty on offer, from the popular massage chair, to rack of books, or just grab a seat on a bean bag and watch something from our vast library of movies and TV series. We even have a couple of guitars our guests are welcome to use or leave it to some of our masterful crew to play something for you! DINING EXPERIENCE One of the most important aspects of holiday… Food. We do our utmost ensure you never go hungry while onboard with 5 meals per day: Light breakfast, big breakfast, lunch, afternoon cooked snacks and dinner. Not to mention the biscuits and instant noodles available at all times complimentary. Main meals are typically in a buffet style, though with certain types of cuisine we will serve à la carte. Meals usually are served in our air-conditioned saloon; however, depending on conditions we may opt to have a BBQ dinner under the stars on our ‘sundeck.’ SAFETY From the very beginning, safety has always been the most important aspect of Solitude and at the forefront of all decision making. Given the remote areas we operate in, it is vital to us that our crew are well trained and we are equipped to handle any scenario should it occur. During your stay onboard we provide our guests with a complimentary Nautilus Marine Rescue GPS to provide that peace of mind when out diving in the remote parts of Indonesia Our Features & Global Maritime Distress and Safety System (GMDSS) equipped with: - Emergency Position-Indicating Radiobeacon (EPIRB) - Life Rafts - Emergency Survival Packs - Semi-Automated Fire Suppression Sprinkler System - VHF/SB Radios - Fleet Broadband Satellite Phone & Internet - Inmarsat-C - Local Navigation Maps with Furuno GPS Chart Plotter - Radar (Long/Short) - Weather Plotter - Depth Sounder - 6,000L Water Storage with On-board Water-Maker capable of producing 15,000L of fresh water per day. |
